NTC thermistor 5Ω 5A, inrush current limiter
Power NTC thermistor, 5Ω at 25°C, continuous current 5A. Used as an inrush current limiter at power-on for power supplies. When cold, the high resistance limits the current spike; at steady state, it drops to < 0.2Ω. Ø15 mm, radial format. Max energy 45 J. Dissipation 30 mW/°C.
